Hey loves! It's 2018 and a year that is another blessing. This year I'm just embracing life and the many blessings and life lessons that are to come. In 2014, I gave birth to my son, Carter, who is now 3. Shortly after finding out I was pregnant I realized I would be on the road to becoming a single mom.

Hey guys! I'm starting the new year off with a bang. I've been slacking on the blog since Carter was born, but I'm back! My plan is to have a handmade wardrobe for him and me and document the process via the blog or YouTube videos. Today, I'll be sewing a basic t-shirt, but I added a graphic/saying on his. My son is still in toddler clothing and this book Kwik Sew: Sewing for Toddlers is dedicated to small kids like Carter.

Okay, so my title is misleading lol, but I do want to spend Christmas in Cali one day. Yesterday was Christmas but I was having too much fun to post yesterday.
My son was so happy to open his gifts! He's seven months now and we let him rip into his own gifts haha it was so cute.
My outfit yesterday was pretty simple and being that it was cold I had on my fav camo jacket. I got a special gift yesterday ....besides Carter.... It's my new Brother sewing machine!!
